No. Brain Wellness Center does not use MeRT, which is a trademarked interpretation method using standard TMS hardware. We use qpTMS™, which is more advanced, customizable, and clinically flexible.
pTMS refers to loosely defined “personalized” TMS. qpTMS™ (Quantum Phased Targeted Magnetic Stimulation) is Brain Wellness Center’s proprietary method that uses qEEG brain mapping to precisely target the areas impacted by addiction. It’s highly individualized and goes far beyond standard personalization.
Not under that name. “pTMS” is often used generically to mean personalized TMS. Our proprietary qpTMS™ protocol is significantly more advanced and data-driven than what’s commonly labeled as pTMS.
TMS is the broad term for transcranial magnetic stimulation. rTMS refers specifically to the repetitive pulse format used in all FDA-approved treatments—including the addiction-support protocols we offer.
